Healthy / Diabetic Friendly Snacks for Schools Program

In Guilford County for the 2023-2024 school year, we have 83 schools that have been identified as Title 1 Schools. At least 57.20% of the families in each of these schools are identified as low income according to the Guilford County School website. 50 of those 83 schools are elementary schools.

The Guilford County Wide Cyber Lion's snack program provides snack and diet specific snacks like gluten free, nut free, and diabetic friendly options to 5 local Title 1 elementary schools in our area for the 2023-2024 school year. Each quarter we coordinate with the school counselors to do a snack drop off.

This initiative allows our club to support our future leaders and young scholars while fighting hunger and promoting inclusivity.

New School Addition!

The Guild County Wide Cyber Lions are excited and proud to add Kiser Middle School to the list of schools that receive healthy, diabetic friendly snacks from our club. These can be given to students, by the nurse, in case an issue or emergency occurs.
